Great article … I am a “newbie” and was about to quit when 2 friends tipped me to troll their lists and follow more people/things.

One thing … as a newbie … what’s a PLN, an RT (I figured out DM and @ … LOL)

Thanks Beth for this post. I’ve added it to the folder where I keep all things Twitter. I am planning to teach the faculty at my school how to use Twitter to build their PLN, and you have included some great unwritten rules for newbies.

I joined in February, but really didn’t understand what to do on Twitter until I started reading info from other educators. It took me several months to get my PLN going. I made a lot of mistakes when I started that I want to help others avoid.
